New Product Launch Announcement – GHIN Mobile App
We are excited to announce the arrival of the official GHIN mobile app. GHIN Mobile is now available for your review via the Android Market. Click here to go directly to the landing page of the GHIN Mobile app where you can install it onto your Android enabled device.
GHIN Mobile for iOS will be available for download via the iTunes store soon, as Apple has an approval process that takes a few days to navigate. We will be notifying you as soon as Apple has finalized the approved process and the app is published to the iTunes Store.
Association Customization
GHIN has started the process of adding the customization for those associations that have filled out our survey and provided the necessary content that is required so that the GHIN Mobile app displays your association’s branding. Each association will be notified when their customization is available so that you can review how the app looks and functions, at which point you can start promoting and marketing the application to your membership.
For those associations that have completed the survey and signed the agreement, GHIN will have your customized version of the app available within a week.

If you provide the content in the formats defined in our specifications document, we will be able to get your content loaded quickly. If the images or other information provided does not meet the requirements, GHIN will be contacting you individually to assist in getting the app to best represent your association’s brand.
The Default GHIN instance is also available for associations who have chosen not to customize the app, as well as for those associations awaiting their customization to be completed.

What does “MY Profile” link to (page 6 of the mobile app doc)? Can a banner ad be added at a later date if we do not include it in the inital launch?

Those screen-shots that you see on page 6, were some of the original mock-up screens that I we designed. The “My Profile” button has been renamed to “My Game” and when selected, displays the golfer’s score history.
Content can be added or edited by an association at anytime, just submit those changes to Lisa Gooley or me and we will make sure that they get put in. And “Yes” you can put in a banner at any time.
When will this app. be available for the Windows operating cell phones?

As it stands right now, the development for the GHIN Mobile has been identified for the iOS and Android platform. Blackberry and Window’s enabled devices can use http://m.ghin.com for a mobile experience to post scores and handicap index retrieval.
